Do you ever have those moments that everything just seems to come together and you know, deep in your soul and this is your time and there’s absolutely nothing that’s going to stop you this time?

I had one of those moments this morning.

I have this affirmation that I write every morning (mostly), but I’d been out of the habit for the past few days. Feeling lethargic and totally unmotivated even though I have the dream of my beach house always in the back of my mind, there are days that I just can’t seem to motivate myself to get moving and doing.

Case in point… I missed two newsletters this week, and most days I didn’t even start working until about 4 p.m. because I just didn’t have any get up and go.

So this morning, I made it a point to write my affirmation, and I changed the wording a little bit to fit more of what I was thinking and feeling. And it felt good to read it back out loud, and also to retype it into One Note as I was reading… I could feel the energy starting to rise and fill me up as I was doing this.

And then it was time to draw a card for the day… something else I had neglected to do all week. And OMG… The power and the affirmation that card brought is nothing short of amazing! I’m sitting here as I write this and knowing that this is me and I just got the biggest kick-ass message from the Universe that yes…

This is MY TIME…

I am ready. I give myself permission to go after my big scary goal and achieve it!

Am I scared shitless?

You better believe it.

Am I going to do it anyways?

Hell, yes!

One of the things that came up in my card reading is that I need to be more open about sharing my plans. I’m not very good at that, but here’s the one thing I can tell you for sure…

Because yes, it’s my time. And I can’t think of a better day to launch it that on what would’ve been my father’s 100th birthday.
